Certain private nonprofit (PNP) groups that experienced damages from storms between Oct. 29 and Nov. 8 may be eligible for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

President Declares Major Disaster For Alabama
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced that federal disaster aid has been made available for Alabama to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by Tropical Storm Ida during the period of November 9-10, 2009.
